Ledgent is hiring a Temporary Staff Accountant for a well-established organization seeking strong Accounts Receivable expertise. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who is comfortable working onsite and supporting a busy, collaborative finance team.

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 100% onsite
Start time: 7:30 AM or 8:00 AM
Choice of 30-minute or 1-hour lunch

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $35-$38/hr

Key Responsibilities

AR reconciliations
AR adjustments and related entries
Journal entries
Manage Aging Report
Balance sheet reconciliations
Multi-state sales tax filings
Business and retail fee filings
Review, prepare, and post payroll-related journal entries

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Minimum 3 years' experience in accounting
Strong experience in Accounts Receivable and reconciliations
Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
Proficiency with general accounting processes; specific software experience not required
